A while back I wrote a post which showed how you can sync Firefox across different computers with Mozilla Weave . Today the Google Operating System blog reported that this tool has been updated to the version 0.2 and now has some new features.
Mozilla Weave is a browser sync tool which lets you sync firefox on multiple computers by storing your browser preferences at a centralized location online. According to the release notes, here are the main features of the new version :-
- Intelligent scheduler for synchronization to improve performance.
- Expanded set of supported browser settings and metadata, including:
- Bookmarks
- Browsing History
- Cookies
- Saved Passwords
- Saved Form Data
- Tabs
Since Weave is still in experimental stage, you may face problems sometimes during the sync process but I think this tool could come very handy for those who use Firefox everyday on different computers.
