I have been using twitter since the last few days and it certainly has been a nice experience so far. I was initially under the impression that it could be addictive but instead I found it to be a pretty good solution to boredom and the easiest way to start a discussion or participate in an ongoing discussion.
Apart from posting about interesting stuff and links, you’ll also find random thoughts and activities at twitter, which could be funny, sad, thought provoking, weird etc etc…but always with a potential to invite discussion and interaction.
Like today Michael Martine posted that he had already secured a different username to prevent twitter squatting.

Well, I have heard about domain squatting where people secure domain names and obviously its a big business out there. But twitter squatting ? Weird, huh ? But there have been such instances, for example, Darren posted about someone using twitter as Seth Godin.
However twitter has quite a democratic environment where you can interact with almost any twitter user and if such a thing happens, I am sure it won’t remain hidden from the hyperactive twitterers.
Overall, twitter is an interesting place to be in where you will come across such interesting thoughts. The primary aim of this post was to highlight the benefits of twitter and why it is worth using.
I haven’t written about this nifty application till now but going forward you’ll definitely find some cool ” twitter posts ” at Jeet Blog .
And on that note, don’t forget to follow Jeet Blog ( thats me ) on twitter.
