TinyURL Adds Custom Alias Option

Just after 4 days of publishing the post – 3 Apps To Make Things ‘ Tiny ‘ For You , we find that the immensely useful TinyURL has added another feature to add more flavour to its url shortening service.

tinyurlcustom

Spotted by Louis Gray, this new option lets you choose the shortened sub-url format and you can shorten any long url to a format such as www.tinyurl.com/cool or www.tinyurl.com/jeet as opposed to the previous auto-generated formats like www.tinyurl.com/4xy7de or something like that.

I think it’s a nice move which will make this url shortening service more useful.
