I cannot get this to work. I keep getting an error message stating I’m using the incorrect POP mail settings. I checked Yahoo and used what was suggested and still got the following error message:

Server denied POP3 access for the given username and password.
POP access is limited to Yahoo! Mail Plus subscribers. Please contact Yahoo! Mail’s support team for more information.

dont forget to let people know though that whatever email they send out from their gmail account – using their newly added address, will have ’sent on behalf of XXXXX@gmail.com‘. This displays on Outlook only. Apparently not a google problem, but a MS/Outlook way of handling the info.

Makes it a very poor substitution unfortunately.

This is a good feature with Gmail. I have been using Gmail for a couple of years now and have personlized my email ID for the past 1 year or so. moserws last blog post..NTR’s Kantri Movie Review!

Nice trick. I use Outlook at the minute, but if I ever feel the need to swap to an online app, Gmail will definitely be the one for the job.
