Surchur is a new and different kind of search tool. It takes search keywords and instead of displaying the results as a long list of websites, it segregates the results in pages, pictures, news, videos and products.

The home page of Surchur displays the search bar and the top searches for the day. Surchur is aimed at people looking for specfic search results rather than all results.
For example if you just type the word ‘ Apple ‘ in the surchur box and press enter, it shows you results under pages for Digg.com, delicious.com and technorati.com. Similarly under news you’ll have the related results in Google News, Yahoo News and Newsvine, for pictures you got the related searches in flickr and photobucket and then you have the video and the products section. You may either see them one page or may search for them separately.

Hence if you are looking for different kinds of results in one page, this could prove a handy tool for you.

From the title, I thought this was about some kind keyword tool, but it’s actually a search engine. Very cool indeed! With all the new media, there’s going to be a shift in the big search engines soon with combined features like this.
