Katapulco.com is a search home page which lets you search through different other search engines using keyboard shortcuts.

katapulco

It has assigned a keyboard shortcut to each of the search engines and you need to type in the search query and the shortcut and then hit enter or as they say ” Katapult it ! ” to get to the original search results page. It also has a link at the bottom of page which gives you the full list of search engines and websites.

Almost all the search engines including most of the regional search engines and websites like answers.com, wikipedia, dictionary.com etc are included in its list. Hence its primary motive is to improve your productivity when you are trying to search through a single term in different websites or search engines. Instead of going to the different websites, you can use Katapulco and just go back and forth to search through different websites. You can also make Katapulco your homepage for that purpose. Overall, a nice and innovative tool .
