I email all my tasks to wrike.com and they get into my onlin to-do list immediately. The cool thing is I can set dead-lines, attach files, etc. You might wanna check it out. And its better then the desktop shortcut icon because you don't need to minimize all the windows and then go to the desktop to access the folders.
