There are a number of online dictionary websites which offer you easy access to definitions and word meanings . But Definr is different…its different because of its speed .Yes it is certainly way too fast then any other online dictionary .
It starts suggesting you the nearest possible word when you start typing . And most of the times you will see that it is dead accurate .
Another very useful feature is the Definr Search extension for Firefox and the Definr Bookmarklet ( both available here ) .You just need to drag the bookmarklet to your bookmarks toolbar . Whenever you encounter a word which you can’t understand , just need to double click it and then click on the ” Lookup with Definr ” Bookmarklet . It immediately opens the website showing you the meaning . So I believe this is a very simple but very useful tool , especially due to the speed at which it delivers results .

But I think I still find Google’s define function impressive and fast enough.
You just in this,
“define: yourword”
To speed up things,
I created a bookmark with “df” as the keyword and link “http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=define%3A+%s”
Now just type out the term you are looking for in the URL location bar “df yourword”
It will take you straight to the definition page for the term.
