clicky1Clicky is a web analytics tool which I use everyday apart from using Google Analytics. The primary reason behind using Clicky is that it offers some cool features which even Google Analytics doesn’t offer ( not directly at least ).

Clicky has a nice interface and a neat customizable dashboard which can include a lot of information about the traffic to your website. Moreover, as I will talk about it in features, the dashboard gets updated every few mins to include real time data.

Features

1. You can get Real Time visitor data through the Spy feature, which is helpful especially when you need to monitor traffic in case of a sudden traffic rush like a Digg effect or a rush of traffic through Stumbleupon.

2. Get RSS feeds for your traffic summary, visitors and incoming links which is updated every 30 mins.

3. Track each and every individual information about your visitors including their location, IP addresses, ISP and their frequency of visit to your site. You could also give them a name and further analyze visitor habits.

4. Track downloads and outbound links – certainly unique features.

5. Google Maps integration included and they also provide other goodies like iGoogle Dashboard and Windows Vista Sidebar Gadget.

Overall, I think Clicky is a pretty effective web analytics tool and you can certainly give it a shot. You may sign up for a free trial or get a premium account which will have all the features, starting at just $3.99 per month.

I will take a look at clicky. Thanks.

Moin, everybody cannot offer everything for free. Google has a different business model where Clicky doesn’t fit in
