Check Website Link Popularity With Social Scan

Social Scan is a tool which helps you to check the popularity of a particular website among well known social networking sites. However it doesn’t allows you to check the popularity of a particular link within the website.

For example, if we type www.jeetblog.com in Social Scan, it shows the aggregate data which includes the social media links to all the posts of Jeet Blog and to the blog itself. But if we paste a post link in the social scan search bar, it just shows the same thing. So it can’t tell how many times a particular post has been saved to delicious or reviewed on stumble.

There are some discrepancies as well. Like in the screenshot below, it shows the number of stumble reviews and delicious saves to the main link, but when it comes to Digg, it considers the post link which went popular on Digg.

So overall, this could be a useful tool if it reports correctly and also reports about the links within a website.

This is a very useful tool. Unlike some I’ve tried, this gives the details I’m looking for.

Thanks and I also wanted to tell you how I really enjoy your daily feed. It’s one of my favorites.
