Get Maximum Out of Friendfeed WITHOUT Signing in

26

May

After the twitter mania, Friendfeed has certainly hogged the limelight since the day it was launched. For those who don’t know, Friendfeed does the job of aggregating your activity on the various social networks which you are a part of. So whether its your flickr pics, your stumbles, diggs or you tube videos , you can get them all at one place- your Friendfeed account. Ofcourse it allows you to add friends and subscribe to them so that you can get a peek into their social media activity too. You can subscribe to my Friendfeed here.

Now obviously I’d recommend you to get an account with Friendfeed and enjoy it, but you may not want to sign in with yet another social network for different reasons. But even then, if you love surfing the web and browsing through interesting stuff, you could actually get that through friendfeed without signing in.

Twist allows you put different terms separated by commas and then generates a chart showing the trends. So I decided to compare Obama and Hillary and check who is being talked about more, in twitter. Here’s what I got :-

Heard about Twitter-Squatting ?

7

May

I have been using twitter since the last few days and it certainly has been a nice experience so far. I was initially under the impression that it could be addictive but instead I found it to be a pretty good solution to boredom and the easiest way to start a discussion or participate in an ongoing discussion.

Apart from posting about interesting stuff and links, you’ll also find random thoughts and activities at twitter,  which could be funny, sad, thought provoking, weird etc etc…but always with a potential to invite discussion and interaction.
